Copyright is a property right. Under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976, photographs are protected by copyright from the moment of creation.

If you are here then you just had a photo session or event with us and are thinking of purchasing the copyright release/print release. I am sure you are curious on what you can do with your release after you purchase it and what does it mean? As a photographer, I own the rights to my artwork/photography and will hold the copyright to all my artwork/photography.

 

As a client who purchases the Copyright Release/Print Release you can do the following with your release:

• Share with family and friends & use them on any form of social media, but not claiming the work as your own

• Print any amount in any form (photos, canvas, albums, etc.)

You cannot do the following with any photos or artwork purchased from EAWimages:

​

• Claim any of the photos or artwork from EAWimages as your own. 

• Editing or changing the images in anyway, without write permission from EAWimages.

• Use for commercial or financial gain, without write permission from EAWimages.
